Mr. Jacobson,
I write this letter with hopes of understanding and ask for help, here;s my situation, I contracted a terminal disease here at PVSP called coccidioidomycosis (https://www.cdc.gov/fungal/diseases/coccidioidomycosis/) also known as Valley Fever.
This disease attacked my respiratory system that left my health with irreversible lung damage caused by Cocci. It was diagnosed with ‘restrictive lung disease’.
The terrible problem I’m having is not being able to have a nebulizer machine in my cell: The fact is I have been to the emergency hospitals and TTA because I have shortness of breath very severely at times at various hours of the early mornings.
My respiratory lungs are unpredictable. This last week my lung valves contracted and I find myself gasping for air to breathe between 1 and 3am. (2 times, 5 days apart is not good) needless to say I went to emergency.
So, I felt you may have an understanding of the difficulty it is being incarcerated and having medical problems of mistreatment by CSC Medical and CDC Custody.
I feel I have a legitimate medical condition and reason to be allowed to have a in cell nebulizer machine to help me in my medical condition and need.
Well you know how prisons are they do everything possible to not help a person that has a legitimate medical problem and medical need.
So with diligence I ask if anyone in your organization is willing to help me or if there is any attorney that is willing to take on a medical deliberate indifference case of a serious medical need in consignment.
All my descriptions I have mentioned are all verifiable on my medical file including Pulmonologist reports with the severity of my lungs.
With sincere respects I end this letter and hope for a response or interview.
Thank you for reading my letter,
If you know of any civil rights attorneys that may help, please have them contact me.
